Mondzeit in Vollendung

The ›Lunaris II‹ table clock by Erwin Sattler represents a new generation of a proven timepiece. Its distinctive frameless glass case is retained, while the lid and base have been redesigned in finely brushed gemstone.

At the heart of the design remains the moon. The two-part dial has been carefully refined: Roman numerals milled from the front layer reveal the level beneath, creating a subtle sense of depth. New skeletonized steel hands with filled tips complement the design, while the artistically hand-painted moon disc remains a defining feature.

Acoustically, the clock stays true to its standards. The passing strike marks each full hour with a clear chime on a bell. Winding, hand setting, moon phase adjustment, and regulation of the 8-day movement are neatly arranged on the back, ensuring convenient operation.

The Lunaris II is powered by the Sattler Caliber 2004, featuring a Swiss escapement, screw balance, and 12 precision ball bearings. The movement offers an eight-day power reserve, combining traditional watchmaking craftsmanship with modern material aesthetics.

With its U-shaped mineral glass and two-part dial in black or light tones, the Lunaris II is a striking object for enthusiasts of mechanical timepieces—an elegant masterpiece from Erwin Sattler: familiar in character, refined in detail.
