Mechanical Elegance

The ›Opus K100 II‹ floor clock by Erwin Sattler combines the proven manufactory caliber with a modernized design. The model is presented in the current Opus case and features a newly developed, two-part dial.

The anti-reflective, frameless U-shaped mineral glass offers an unobstructed view of the dial. Its precisely crafted cutouts reveal the underlying calendar display. The combination of moon phase, day-of-the-week, and date indicators creates an impressive three-dimensional effect and defines the clock’s distinctive appearance.

The Opus K100 II is available in two contemporary dial variants: a black-anodized version with polished steel hands, and a light version with blued steel hands.

A particular highlight is the hand-painted moon disc, which accurately represents both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. The clock is powered by the Sattler Caliber 1565-4 with a wooden rod pendulum and polished brass lens. The movement has a 30-day power reserve, requiring winding only once per month. The winding key can be elegantly stored in a hidden compartment in the base.

The elaborately crafted case, with black lacquer, fine metal inlays, and a U-shaped glass door, protects the precise movement while showcasing it in style. Combining traditional watchmaking craftsmanship, innovative details, and a month-long power reserve, the Opus K100 II becomes an impressive timepiece for lovers of mechanical precision.
