The Calatrava ladies’ model 4997/200G goes perfectly with the patented ladies’ annual calendar 4947/1A, the first ones in a round Calatrava case made of polished steel.
It’s a ›perfect match‹: the two Calatrava innovations from spring 2021 complement each other perfectly on the delicate wrist of the modern woman.
While the 4947/1A-001 impresses with an integrated metal bracelet, the dial of the 4997/200G flatters with a slightly larger diameter and a bezel set with 76 round diamonds. Both models celebrate an elegant midnight blue but look different, nevertheless.
The Calatrava ladies’ model with a guilloché and lacquered dial and slightly larger diameter (35 mm) contains a mechanical movement with automatic winding, which takes the place of a hand-wound calibre. Several layers of midnight blue transparent lacquer with a subtle depth effect cover the dial rondelle, which is finely decorated with concentric waves. 76 round diamonds in flawless Top Wesselton quality make the bezel shine. The brushed calfskin strap with a satin look of this new model matches the colour of the dial.
For the first time, Patek Philippe is introducing the annual calendar in a round Calatrava case made of polished steel with a diameter of 38 mm that fits any wrist. This watch is fitted with a new bracelet which connects seamlessly. Its fully polished links are arranged in five rows. The shine of the steel harmonizes impressively with the elegant midnight blue dial, which is made even more sophisticated by the double vertical and horizontal satin finish. The annual calendar, a Patek Philippe patent, only needs to be adjusted once a year
Deciding which model is the right one seems so difficult that there can only be one solution: Two for the lady!
