DIAMOND JUBILEE

The exhibition was opened at an unforgettable evening event with family, guests and friends of the company. A solo exhibition on the premises of a museum – this was a long-cherished dream of the company. With the special exhibition at the Øregård Museum, in which jewelry from three Lynggaard generations is on display, now this dream has come true. The exhibition is curated by Charlotte Lynggaard and Sofia Lynggaard-Normann in collaboration with the museum.

DANISH DESIGN HISTORY

“We are very proud of this collaboration with the Øregård Museum. We have long dreamed of bringing the history and designs of our company to a museum. It is very special to be able to share this with our father, the dedicated employees and the many design lovers in Denmark and abroad. We could not have wished for a better conclusion to our 60th anniversary year,” says designer and creative director Charlotte Lynggaard.

The exhibition takes us on a journey into the design universe of OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN and the artistic and artisanal processes behind the creations. The exhibition features more than one hundred pieces of jewelry from the years 1963 to 2023, including cult classics and special pieces. Visitors can discover historic jewelry by Ole Lynggaard, the ‘Midnight Tiara’ and the ‘BoHo rings’ by Charlotte Lynggaard, as well as brand new jewelry by Sofia Lynggaard-Normann, the third generation of this amazing design family.

The exhibition will be on display at the Øregård Museum in Hellerup near Copenhagen until December 17, 2023. The museum is open Wednesday-Friday from 12-6pm and Saturday-Sunday from 11am-4pm.
