A Timeless Masterpiece

Patek Philippe has introduced a new masterpiece to its coveted Annual Calendar collection with the release of the 5396G-017. This elegant timepiece blends exceptional technical innovation with timeless design. The reinterpretation of the legendary 5396 impresses with new details and an even more refined appearance.

A Design That Captivates

The dial of the new 5396G-017 is a true work of art. The blue sunburst finish with a subtle black gradient immediately draws attention, exuding a sense of profound elegance. Twelve baguette diamond indices (approximately 0.26 carats) accentuate the luxurious design, while faceted Dauphine-style hands in white gold enhance the minimalist yet sophisticated look.

One standout feature of this watch is its clear and thoughtfully arranged displays. The twin windows for the day and month are located at 12 o’clock, while the date display is positioned at 6 o’clock. The 24-hour display and precise moonphase indication are also integrated at 6 o’clock.

Exceptional Technology

Inside the 5396G-017 beats the new Caliber 26-330 S QA LU 24H, an advancement of the 2019 base movement. The Annual Calendar automatically adjusts for months with 30 and 31 days and requires only one correction per year at the end of February.

The moonphase mechanism is extraordinarily precise, deviating by only one day every 122 years. The stop-seconds feature makes precise time setting effortless. With a power reserve of 35 to 45 hours, the watch is perfectly suited for daily use. The central rotor, crafted from 21k gold, is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, showcasing the movement’s fine craftsmanship, including beveled and polished edges.

The white gold case, with a diameter of 38.5 mm and a height of 11.2 mm, is fully polished and water-resistant up to 30 meters. This combination of compact size, luxurious materials, and advanced technology makes this watch an ideal companion for any occasion.

A Tradition of Innovation

Since its debut in 2006, the 5396 reference has continually set new benchmarks. The first white gold (5396G-011) and rose gold (5396R-011) versions from 2010 established this model line as a classic among Annual Calendar watches. The introduction of the rose gold version in 2017, featuring a blue sunburst dial (5396R-015), added a modern and vibrant option to the collection.

With the current 5396G-017, Patek Philippe continues this legacy. The diamond-set indices and the multidimensional dial bring a new level of luxury to the collection, while the technical advancements elevate the movement to new heights. Its balance of understated refinement and functional versatility makes it a must-have for watch enthusiasts and collectors alike.
