A legendary Geneva race - the limited edition Grand Prix des Nations series

Inspired by the legendary Grand Prix des Nations, which took place in Geneva from 1946 to 1950, a renowned Swiss watch manufacturer has created a watch limited to just 10 pieces. The design of the watch is inspired by the racing cars of the time and combines artisanal techniques such as cloisonné enamel, pailloné enamel and miniature painting on enamel. Each dial required 12 to 13 firings in the kiln at 820°C. The white gold case is fitted with a sapphire crystal case back under a hinged lid, on which the engraved inscription “Grand Prix des Nations – 1948” can be seen. The watch is equipped with the extra-flat automatic caliber 240 movement and impresses with its attention to detail, such as the perforations on the strap, which are reminiscent of the racing drivers’ gloves. This limited edition series is a must-have for every lover of watchmaking art and motorsport.
