In the new short film ›The Boy, the Girl and the Key‹ Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen showcases their jewelry in a striking way. The film marks the directiorial debut of Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen, known from the previous campaign ›A moment in time‹ and the netflix series ›1899‹. He appears alongside brand ambassador Clara Rugaard in a love story where connection is created without words.
The two protagonists playfully move through a black and white world until they come across a locked door. The key around the neck of the dancer portrayed by Rugaard unlocks the door, but she must remain in the monochrome world while Lynggaard Tønnesen steps into a world of color. The jewelry box at the end however, in which first a ballerina and then a couple dances, suggest a happy end for the couple.
Some of the jewelry pieces stand out in the film, such as the ›Under the sea fish hook‹-brooch with the ›Young fish Pendant‹, which Lynggaard Tønnesen wears on his tie. His understated suit makes the piece stand out even more, creating an interesting contrast with the monochrome surroundings. The ›Gipsy‹-earrings worn by Rugaard’s character are a real eye-catcher with their hypnotic sparkle. The characters‘ playful journey creates a lot of movement, allowing the earrings to catch the light. At the end of the film the ›Funky Stars‹-brooch takes center stage, standing out through its shimmer in the sunlight.
