Porcelain Meets Jewellery

In an exceptional collaboration, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and the Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg open a new chapter in European craftsmanship. Together with designer Charlotte Lynggaard they have created a collection that interprets fine porcelain as a medium for jewellery and sculptural home objects. The result is a harmonious fusion of traditional porcelain artistry and the organic design language for which the Danish jewellery house is renowned.

Over the course of more than two years, Charlotte Lynggaard developed the collection in close collaboration with the master artisans of the Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg. During an extended stay in the historic workshops in Munich, she immersed herself in the centuries-old manufacturing process, which has remained virtually unchanged since 1747, while exploring the unique creative possibilities of porcelain. The collaboration reflects her intuitive design philosophy, in which every material plays a defining role in shaping the final creation.

At the heart of the collection are handcrafted porcelain pendants that also function as small sculptural objects. Inspired by organic forms found in nature, they translate Charlotte Lynggaard’s distinctive aesthetic into the delicate medium of porcelain. The collection is complemented by a sculptural porcelain candleholder, creating a poetic connection between jewellery design and the art of living.

Every piece is crafted entirely by hand at the historic Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg. Multiple firings, meticulous glazing and hand-painting by skilled porcelain artisans give each object its own unique character. The collection is available at the Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen flagship stores in Copenhagen and Munich.
