The timeless design of the Golden Ellipse is associated with the refined touch of Rare Handcrafts in a timepiece with a highly original face. The 18K gold dial plate is first hollowed out to form the cavities destined to receive the black Grand Feu enamel (champlevé enamel). The gold areas left in relief are then hand-engraved with plant-life and floral motifs.
