The World in Blue

At Watches and Wonders, Frederique Constant unveiled the new generation of the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture – a bold reinterpretation of an iconic collection that has been a cornerstone of the Maison since 2012. Powered by the FC-719 manufacture calibre, the latest models present the world in rich shades of blue: a gradient dial reminiscent of the depths of the ocean meets relief-embossed continents. The display of 24 time zones remains intuitively adjustable via a single crown, while the interchangeable alligator leather strap with quick-release system highlights the versatility of the design.

Within the 40 mm polished stainless steel case, the technical sophistication of the new calibre unfolds with a 72-hour power reserve. This version is complemented by a newly designed five-link bracelet that enhances the watch’s cosmopolitan character. A particular highlight is the limited edition of 88 pieces, featuring a diamond-set bezel and sparkling hour markers, with an engraving that references the brand’s founding year, 1988. With this reinterpretation, the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture reaffirms its role as a stylish companion for modern explorers.
